Calendar events and converter
Create recurring events
Section titled “Create recurring events”Open a calendar and select Events. Events use their own draft with Save, Discard, and Cmd/Ctrl+S behavior.
Add an event, expand it, and set its name, repeat interval, and offset. Build its recurrence as an ordered sequence of steps:
- Set date chooses a named span and position.
- Shift spans moves by a number of named spans.
- Shift fixed moves by an amount of a fixed unit.
- Next overlay or its previous direction seeks a named overlay label.
Steps can be added, reordered, and removed. Collapse finished events to keep the list compact, or delete an event entirely.
The preview shows occurrences across a primary-cycle range. Incomplete or invalid recurrence steps block saving. Event generation requires a compatible linear, spans-based primary chain.
Convert a tick to a date
Section titled “Convert a tick to a date”Select Converter and enter a tick. After a short delay, Weave formats it through the saved calendar definition and displays unit components and overlay labels along the primary chain.
This is useful for checking epoch alignment, span lengths, leap rules, and overlay offsets.
Resolve text or components to a tick
Section titled “Resolve text or components to a tick”The converter also works in reverse:
- Enter formatted or free date text and choose Resolve, or press Enter.
- Edit the individual date components and choose Resolve components.
The result is the underlying project tick. Resolution errors leave the input in place so it can be corrected.
