Choose a coordinate space

A layout is a saved view of project data. When you choose New layout, enter a name and choose:

• Relational for freely arranged nodes and connectors.
• Spatial for geometry, images, layers, and linked map features.

A spatial layout requires an owner node. Ownership lets the layout appear on that node’s detail page and ties availability to the owner when the layout follows project time.

Choose a time mode

Every layout has one of two temporal modes:

• All time shows its content independently of the project’s viewed moment.
• Follow project projects graph data and validity at the active project time.

When a follow-project spatial layout’s owner is inactive or unavailable at the viewed moment, the layout is disabled in the list. Change project time or switch the layout to All time from a moment when it can be opened.

Manage the layouts list

The list shows each layout’s name, coordinate space, owner, time mode or availability, and last update.

• Select an available row or its name to open it.
• Use the pencil action to rename it inline, then Save.
• Use the trash action to delete it after confirmation.

Deletion cannot be undone from this page. It removes the layout, not the graph nodes that appeared in it.

Work inside a layout

The header lets you return to the list, switch directly to another layout, and change the temporal mode. Canvas and viewport changes save automatically. Status near the upper-right reports Saving, Uploading, Saved, or a failure that needs attention.

Weave protects pending changes when you navigate away. Image upload and save errors stay visible, and the layout remains dirty until a later save succeeds.
