Timeline

Timeline turns node and relationship validity into a chronology. Each date or tick groups items that Enter or Leave the world at that moment.

Select a transition to open the affected node or relationship. A marker shows the current viewed time within the chronology.

Busy date groups initially show a smaller set of transitions. Use Show more to reveal the rest, then collapse the group when finished.

Open the filter control and include Nodes, Relationships, or both. At least one category remains enabled, so the timeline cannot be filtered to an empty category set by accident.

The page remembers filters, expanded groups, and scroll position during the current app session.

Use the earlier and later page actions to load transitions beyond the current window. A failed page shows a retry action without discarding already loaded history.

Choose the time action beside a date group to set that date as the project’s current viewed time. The global sidebar control updates, and other time-aware pages will now project the graph at that moment.

Timeline is most useful after nodes or relationships have starts and ends. See Project time for activating time and Nodes and relationships for ending an item at the current moment.
